About Us
The term “Jubilee” means the fiftieth year. It is derived from Lv 25:10, which says that the fiftieth year shall be a jubilee: “you shall return, every one of you, to your property and every one of you to your family.”
St. Elizabeth of Hungary (1207-1231 A.D.) committed her life to serving the poor and the sick. She is our namesake and our inspiration.
St. Elizabeth’s Jubilee Center is sponsored by seven Episcopal churches in the greater Portland area.
We partner with local schools, other faith communities, and local businesses and community groups to serve the people of Portland.
